Memorial Day

The Memorial Day ceremony will be live-streamed on Monday, May 31, 2021 starting at 10:00 a.m. on our Facebook page. Viewing information is available atop our homepage. In light of the recent lifting of restrictions for outdoor events, an area will be designated for members of the public who wish to attend. Since limited seating will be available, we encourage you to bring your own chairs, if you wish.

On the last Monday in May, Dulaney Valley hosts one of the best-known Memorial Day ceremonies in the Baltimore area. The ceremony, held within the Circle of Immortals section of the Field of Honor is a traditional, patriotic gathering to honor all Marylanders who have paid the highest price in defense of our nation.

On Memorial Day, in 1998, the American Legion dedicated the official Baltimore County World War II and Korean War Memorial at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens to those who gave their lives to defend and preserve the Liberties of America, and for recognizing all Veterans and families who survived the tragedies of war.

Dulaney Valley invites you to attend our Memorial Day ceremony to honor the men and women who served our country. The first act of honoring is the simple act of remembering.
